The All-Star center, Kevin Love has refused the buyout deal Cleveland Cavaliers had extended to the player recently. Love is worried the offer would reduce his value as Cavs plan on using Love as a backup player instead. The 32-year-old hence has even been linked with many NBA teams who are trying to swoop in and steal the player for themselves.
Though the outstanding salary of $60 million Love is owed for the next two years would be difficult to compete with. Love’s agent Jeff Schwartz has confirmed both the parties are not really interested in a buyout at the moment and if another franchise wants to bring over the player they would have to engage in a trade at the end of the day. Brooklyn Nets is one of the teams hoping to land the five-time All-Star.
