Knicks could go for Paul George this offseason

Following a disappointing campaign by Clippers, they could be looking at changes in the squad this offseason which would also involve Paul George. His lack of performance costed Clippers throughout the NBA season which resulted in repeated questioning on his abilities and thus Clippers could be looking at a possible trade for him and Knicks could benefit the most from this opportunity. They need a small forward after losing Marcus Morris to Clippers, Kevin Knox could only be a sixth man scorer and thus the only players they can offer are RJ Barrett or Mitchell Robinson in exchange for George. This would be his final year of the $136.9 million four-year contract at Clippers thus he could choose to be a free agent after next season. George has averaged this season with 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game on 43% shooting.
