New York Knicks destroyed New Orleans Pelicans by winning 116-106 on Wednesday with Julius Randle overpowering Zion Williamson to end their three-match winning streak. Williamson had 25 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal. While Brandon Ingram scored a team-high with 28 points, and Naji Marshall and Steven Adams together dropped 24 points.
Pelicans were shorthanded for the night with no sign of Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, or Nickeil Alexander-Walker in the squad and Knicks took advantage of it, with former Pelicans Julius Randle scoring game-high 32 points and Elfrid Payton at 11 points. Alec Burks also contributed 21 points off the bench and RJ Barrett though stayed out of form and added just 6. New Orleans Pelicans seemed like no match for the Knicks who are having a good season.
