The Boston Celtics are going to get calls if they decide that they want to start shopping Gordon Hayward. For the upcoming season, Hayward has a player option. And, this probably will be the best option for both parties if he determines it. However, that doesn’t mean the Celtics couldn’t change over and trade him. The Indiana Pacers have been a destination for Hayward, who is an Indiana native for weeks now. However, you can now amalgamate another team into the mix. The New York Knicks are befitted to have an interest in trading for Hayward, according to Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor. It can be only possible if Boston makes him available. It’s not clear if Hayward wants to disburse the final year of his contract with the Celtics.
