Lakers gets an injury flashback as the lose Trevor Ariza for 8 weeks

Los Angeles Lakers cannot put injuries behind them as veteran Trevor Ariza has been ruled out of play for more than eight weeks even before the new season kicked off properly. Head coach Frank Vogel would have to work on a contingency plan now as the injury raises doubts over the future of Lakers.

Ariza had to undergo a serious procedure on his right ankle but is expected to make a full recovery, while two months is a long time, Vogel would have to consider the likes of Kent Bazemore and Wayne Ellington as his replacement and hope none of them end up suffering injuries. Ariza’s injury also raises the doubt that the veteran team with most of their members over 35, Lakers are bound to run into such a problem again.
