The Los Angeles Lakers end the long and arduous road trip with a 107-99 win over the Hawks, who were led by Trae Young and Clint Capela. Los Angeles Lakers followed the time-tested model of starting Anthony Davis early and ending with a LeBron James’ showdown to go back to the west coast happy. Atlanta Hawks put up a great fight for full 48 minutes at the lease but could not overthrow the reigning champions who have a 5-2 record. Lakers lost two back-to-back games on road for the first time this season slipping back in the Western Conference as well but Lakers showmanship is commendable with a great comeback despite the setback. Anthony Davis finished with 25 points with most of it in the first half next came in Montrezl Harrell who added 19 points with 8-9 shooting. Both of them took Hawk’s defense for a ride. Atlanta made one more mistake by depending solely on Young and Rajon Rondo to score, who was unable to deliver.
