Lakers will stick to Russell Westbrook 

There might have been a lot of talks circulating in the market, about the potential trade of Russel Westbrook by the Los Angeles Lakers after the team failed miserably in the NBA. Westbrook is obligated to stay with the side for the 2022-23 season earning $47 million but the sum now seems unimaginably large compared to his performance. The nine-time All-Star failed to keep the Lakers ship afloat in the 2021-22 season.

Nonetheless, this makes his next season with the team even more crucial as Westbrook would have to prove his worth to the team in the coming NBA season. The Big three might not have taken off this season but Lakers plan to stick to the same offensive lineup and try their luck next season.
