Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals MVP award given to Jayson Tatum

The Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals MVP award was likely going to be handed over to the best player on the winning team. But after the Celtics went into the NBA Finals, Tatum got the best opportunity to grab this title. He successfully secured a team-high 26 points while grabbing 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. In addition to this, he also registered a pair of blocks, leaving no doubt that he would be the winner of this award. 

Horford,  wouldn't also be a worthy recipient of the award as he was a steady force for the Boston Celtics all throughout the series. After winning the award, Tatum said that it is an honor and it doesn't even seem real. Also, he was extremely happy and grateful for all of that.
