Kawhi Leonard bagged 16 points, consisting of an 18-foot jumper with 1.4 seconds to raise the Los Angeles Clippers to a 119-117 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night in his comeback from a right ankle sprain.
Paul George also returned to the game from a strained hamstring to fire 19 points along with seven assists for the Clippers, who broke a two-game losing streak. Reggie Jackson and Nic Batum individually had 13 points each, and John Wall contributed with 12 points and 12 assists off the bench. Luke Kennard gave nine points off the bench in his first game; returning from an injury as well. Kelly Oubre held 28 points and P.J. Washington jumped up from a 0-for-13 shooting night to fire 26 for the Hornets.
