Los Angeles Lakers have collected their fifth win

Anthony Davis, a centre for the Lakers, was the game's standout, scoring a game-high 38 points on 15 of 26 shooting while also grabbing a game-high 17 rebounds and two blocks, which tied for the team lead. Despite shooting seven of 19 from the field, superstar running partner LeBron James still managed to contribute with 10 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and a steal in addition to his 18 points. The Lakers came out of the break and produced a 35-18 third period to seize control of the game despite the fact that the Timberwolves really led by 10 at halftime.

Early in the fourth quarter, Anthony Edwards' three-pointer reduced the Lakers' advantage to nine points, but from that point on, Davis scored 15 of Los Angeles' next 17 points, stepping up when his team most needed him.
