Despite shooting seven of 19 from the field, superstar running partner LeBron James still managed to contribute with 10 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and a steal in addition to his 18 points. The Lakers came out of the break and produced a 35-18 third period to seize control of the game despite the fact that the Timberwolves really led by 10 at halftime.
Early in the fourth quarter, Anthony Edwards' three-pointer reduced the Lakers' advantage to nine points, but from that point on, Davis scored 15 of Los Angeles' next 17 points, stepping up when his team most needed him.
