Los Angeles Lakers closed their seven-match road trip with a win over Charlotte Hornets by 101-93 on Tuesday. Lakers improved their record to 4-3 on the road which is a huge deal as they were without their star players. Lakers went small on defense by placing Alex Caruso and he halted Hornets offense well while Lakers went 12-2. Both the teams did not have their best players to rely on but Lakers counted on their defense to pull off a win against the Hornets and it paid off.
Miles Bridges finished with 13 points while Kyle Kuzma scored the game-high 24 points for Lakers and Dennis Schroder influenced the game as well despite his backache to finish with 19 points and 6 assists.
