Lakers were playing without Anthony Davis against Portland but as it turns out they pulled off a win even without Davis. LeBron James scored 43 points to make up for the loss of Davis and made 19 of 41 threes shooting 55.3% to help the team win by 139-106. Blazers were undermanned with many of their players involved in NBA’s health and safety protocols, and the team has since lost three matches back to back.
In the first half itself, James scored 27 while Blazers struggled to put points on the table the only hope was Ben McLemore, who had 20 in the first half and finished with 28 points in the end. Damian Lillard, also contributed 18 points making just 5 of 15 shots and worst of all 1 of 8 threes while Norman Powell continued to struggle as well against Lakers, who enjoyed an easy win.
