Luka Doncic dropped 42 points to lead Dallas Mavericks to a win in Game 5 with a 105-100 victory. Tim Hardaway Jr. complimented with two free throws with seconds left in the match and Mavs took a 3-2 lead in the end. Mavs are off to a good start to seal their first series win ever since winning the NBA championship in 2011. They would face Clippers at home in Game 6 though after the first five matches were won by an away team it would seem like a bad omen.
Doncic failed to beat his career playoff-high by two points. Whereas the Clippers had five starters in double-figure, and Paul George led with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard scored just 20 points but both the stars missed many opportunities to score during the match costing Clippers a win.
