Orlando Magic has a new head coach in the form of Dallas Mavericks’ assistant Jamahl Mosley. Orlando has entered into a four-year deal with Mosley, the financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. The president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman issued a statement as well on the matter and welcomed Jamahl to the family. He even went on to say that within the coaching community, Jamahl is one of the rising stars and focuses more on player development.
Mosley is the 15th head coach of the franchise and would be taking the place of former coach Steve Clifford who left the spot vacant in the last month. Mosley served as the assistant coach for seven years with the Mavs and before that he has also worked for Cleveland Cavaliers from 2010 to 2014 and before that he worked with Denver Nuggets from 2005 to 10.
