Dwight Powell stole the ball and made a three-pointer for the Mavericks, who led 96-93 with 2:02 remaining. Reggie Bullock scored the Mavericks' second final 3-pointer after a Clippers turnover with 91s remaining, giving them a 99-93 lead.
The Clippers cut it to 99-98 with a 3-pointer by Nicolas Batum, but Paul George added a layup to make it 99-98 with 51 seconds remaining. Doncic sank a three-pointer with 27 seconds remaining to extend the Dallas lead to 102-98. George finished with a layup with 18 seconds remaining and Bullock made only 1-of-2 free throws with 7.3 seconds left to make it 103-100 as the Clippers searched for a three-pointer to equalize.
