Mavericks crushed Celtics by 107-104 at NBA Playoff

Luka Doncic accomplished something that new Dallas coach Jason Kidd recalls seeing a lot when he was the Mavericks' point guard a decade ago. Dallas fans have become accustomed to this from the young superstar who succeeded fellow European Dirk Nowitzki as the team's captain. Doncic made a high-arching 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Mavericks a 107-104 victory over the Boston Celtics on Saturday night, another fantastic moment for the All-Star.

With 11 seconds left, the 22-year-old grabbed the inbound pass, dribbled past midcourt toward the left-wing, and lifted the shot over former teammate Josh Richardson, who was facing the Mavericks for the first time since being traded in the offseason. With another All-Star, Jayson Tatum, out with a hamstring injury, Doncic finished with 33 points to 32 for fellow All-Star Jayson Tatum, who rebounded from two poor shooting nights to help Boston rally from a 17-point halftime hole.
