Desmond Bane scored 23 points to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 113-103 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, extending their winning streak to four games. The Grizzlies, who have won nine of their last ten games, were led by Dillon Brooks' 22 points and Steven Adams' 10 points and 14 rebounds. In Portland's seventh straight loss, Norman Powell scored 25 points. After taking the lead in the third quarter, the Blazers led by as many as 10 points, but Memphis pulled to within 82-80 going into the fourth quarter and then went on a 14-0 run to go up 94-82.
With 3:44 left, Brooks' 3-pointer made it 108-96 and all but secured the victory. After a 111-107 overtime loss to the Phoenix Suns the night before, the Blazers were playing the second of a back-to-back. Portland has had a slew of injuries. Damian Lillard missed five games earlier this month due to abdominal tendinopathy.
