Memphis Grizzlies allowed Sacramento Kings to start with an 18-11 lead in the first quarter as their offensive side could not really find their rhythm. Grizzlies ultimately picked up the pace at the end of the quarter to end with 31-29. In the second quarter Kings powered up once again to create a lead of 15 points then the defensive duo of De’Anthony Melton and Kyle Anderson changed the game as Grizzlies cut the lead slowly and steadily.
Grizzlies started off the second half with a 58-56 lead and maintained control later on with some offensive firework and Grizzlies won by 124-105 in the end. Grizzlies fought off the late effort by Kings with the help of Jaren Jackson Jr. and Dillon Brooks, while Melton rallied late to deny Sacramento a win.
