Miami Heat seeks Brooklyn Nets Guard

Heat were hoping to ride the momentum that saw them to the NBA finals last season to the 2020-2021 NBA season but injuries took over Heat.  Spencer Dinwiddie’s partial ACL tear meant he could just play three games this season.  Miami added Avery Bradley and Maurice Harkless in the free agency period replacing Jae Crowder, Solomon Hill and Derrick Jones Jr. Heat though expected Dinwiddie back to court after five months.

He rejected his player option of $12.3 million with Nets and is pinning his hopes on the free agency period. In the 2019-2020 season he was averaging 20.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game, he has developed into a fine playmaker as well making him a threat to any team. Heat would elevate their offensive game by signing Dinwiddie for next season.
