Miami Heat hosted Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night and gave them a thrashing to remember by beating them by 118-90, Kelly Olynyk in his first appearance of the season overpowered OCK to post 19 points in 27 minutes accompanied by 8 rebounds and one assist while Bam Adebayo added 20 points with 9-for-10 shooting adding 8 rebounds and 4 assists as well. Olynyk’s remarkable performance was seen when he made 7-of-9 shots with 5-of-7 on 3-pointers.
Coach Erik Spoelstra has been experimenting with different lineups during all six Heat’s games and this one might have been the best with a balanced performance. Oklahoma’s star for the night was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who added 18 points during the night with Darius Bazley who complemented with 16. First Quarter ended at a 26-26 stalemate, later Miami picked up momentum and maintained its lead to ultimately win its third game of the season.
