Utah Jazz’s current guard Mike Conley Jr. has rejected the option for early termination option of his contract as the star stays in the squad for the next season thus would not be entering the free agency this offseason. This year would be his last year for the five-year deal which was worth $153 million and now he will be making $34.5 million next season. He spent 12 years at Memphis Grizzlies until he was moved to Utah Jazz in 2016. He will now be up for free agency 2022 when the leagues would be in a better condition financially and would have recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic. The 33-year-old averaged 14.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game while at Jazz and appeared in a total of 47 games.
