Milwaukee Bucks advance ahead to confront Boston Celtics

Milwaukee Bucks’s Giannis Antetokounmpo had 33 points and nine rebounds and the defending NBA champion directed the Chicago Bulls to another loss with 116-100 on Wednesday night to polish off the first-round playoff series. Bucks progressed to set up a match with Boston in the Eastern Conference elimination rounds, with Game 1 on Sunday in Boston, Celtics had previously taken down Brooklyn.

After dividing the initial two games, the Bucks won the last three matches by a normal edge of 23.3 points. They dominated those three matches without Khris Middleton, the All-Star who hyper-extended the average guarantee tendon in his left knee during the final quarter of Game 2. Antetokounmpo drove the way for the Bucks by shooting 11 of 15 from the floor and 11 of 14 from the free-toss line.
