Minnesota Timberwolves beat the NBA-worst Detroit Pistons 106-91

In a matchup against the NBA-worst Detroit Pistons, the Minnesota Timberwolves rallied from a sluggish start to secure a convincing 106-91 victory on Wednesday night. Naz Reid led the charge with an impressive double-double, contributing 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaden McDaniels added 20 points to bolster the Wolves' offense. Kyle Anderson made a significant impact off the bench, chipping in 14 points to help offset a quieter performance from All-Star Anthony Edwards, who contributed nine points.

The win marked a significant milestone for the Timberwolves, as they reached the 50-win mark for just the fifth time in their 35 seasons. With 10 games remaining, they matched the franchise's third-highest win total, with their best-ever record standing at 58-24 in the 2003-04 season. Despite a stellar performance from Cade Cunningham, who scored 32 points for the Pistons, Detroit suffered their eighth consecutive loss.
