Minnesota Timberwolves handed the Houston Rockets their 13th straight loss

For the first game this season, Edwards scored over 40 points on 17 of 29 field goal attempts, including seven 3-pointers. With a season-high 19 points, Nathan Knight gave the offence a boost off the bench. Alperen Sengun of Houston took advantage of the situation of the Timberwolves' absence of Rudy Gobert (right groyne tightness) for the third straight game by scoring 19 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Sengun's first seven field goals were successful, and he helped Houston outrebound Minnesota 56-30.

Tari Eason ended with 14 points and 9 rebounds, while Eric Gordon contributed 16 points. Houston's top scorer this year, Jalen Green, was limited to 10 points. The Rockets, who are the NBA's leaders in turnovers per game, had 23 of them, which allowed Minnesota to score 30 points.
