Morant’s monstrous performance silences Spurs

Memphis Grizzlies visited the San Antonio Spurs, as Ja Morant and Dejounte Murray dueled it out on the floor but Morant’s 41 point performance was enough to hand Spurs a loss. Grizzlies lead the entire match but Spurs did come close a number of times tying the match but never made it pass beyond that. Devin Vassell did motivate a comeback in the second quarter with his 8-0 race to bring the Spurs inside three points at the half. Memphis pulled clear once again with Morant in the driving seat.

Spurs were barely hanging in the game and headed into the final quarter down only eight; 94-86 and that is when Grizzlies turned the heat up. Ja increased his scoring in the final part and San Antonio fought constantly but suffered a 118-110 misfortune to the Grizzlies.
