Nate Bjorkgren had a new plan of action

Nate Bjorkgren went right to work on Wednesday.  It is not even 24 hours of him accepting the job, and Bjorkgren, the 45-year-old former Toronto Raptors assistant started explaining his master scheme.

Under his guidance, Pacers were expected to move the ball and take more 3-pointers. He wanted the defense to be way more disruptive than it usually was. He promised to take risks and not to get locked into rotations. And, the most crucial point that he firmly believed was the need for more communication between coaches and players.

Kevin Pritchard, president of basketball operations was looking exactly for these traits when he embarked on a coaching search two months ago. Finally, Bjorkgren was the answer to all his searches.
