Alex Caruso drew a charge when he was just a minute away from the third quarter of Saturday’s Lakers-Raptors game. And although it wasn’t the most significant play, it gave him a similar flow of adrenaline as he used to feel before March. He says that he got hyped by the game and even when the buzzer went off, he the feel had been different this time. It hadn’t been a normal game for him. Usually, it’s a time of joy and jubilation when the buzzer goes off, but this time it was a little less celebratory and he finds himself short of words to describe the feeling. Besides Caruso, there had been many players who described the differences of playing basketball in an altogether new environment. There are not many fans, the arenas are smaller, shooting sight lines are changed and the benches are spaced-out etc.
