New Orleans Pelicans beat the short-handed Denver Nuggets

Ingram's second triple-double of the year enabled the Pelicans (39-38) to tie the Minnesota Timberwolves for seventh place in the Western Conference (39-38). New Orleans won for the sixth time in seven games thanks to Jonas Valanciunas, who finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Trey Murphy III added 15 points, and CJ McCollum scored 23. For Denver, Jamal Murray scored 21 points, Bruce Brown added 18, Aaron Gordon, Christian Braun, and Michael Porter Jr. each contributed 11 points (51-25). With six games left for both teams, the Denver Nuggets, who had a four-game winning run snapped, lead the Memphis Grizzlies (48-28) by three games in the Western Conference.

Due to right calf discomfort, Nikola Jokic, a two-time MVP, was unable to play for Denver. Jokic warmed up for the game but was declared out before the opening tip. Jokic has missed nine games so far this year. Due to health and safety rules, he missed three games in November.
