New York went on an 11-2 run to go 79-62 on a Randle layup in the third quarter and Derrick Rose made free throws with 7:54 remaining in the third. The Pistons began the fourth quarter with a 15-7 run and ended with consecutive 3-pointers from Isaiah Livers that cut New York's lead to 89-80. A stepback jumper and free throws by Bogdanovic made it 114-110. Barrett then made free throws and a 3-pointer with 40 seconds left for a 119-110 advantage.
