New York Knicks inks a deal with Derrick Rose

Derrick Rose would play with Big Apple’s Knicks once more after the team resigned the player recently and add the veteran star point guard to the roster in the hopes to recreate their last season’s playoff run. Rose has earned the right to be called the greatest player on the court by Knicks' president Leon Rose. He averaged 14.9 points and 4.2 assists over 35 matches with the team after joining Knicks in February in a deal with Pistons. After he joined the team, the Knicks improved their record and went on to post a 24-11 record in the matches he played.

The details about the deal remain undisclosed but as per the rumor mill, it would be a three-year deal worth $43m. In the last thirteen seasons, he has played for five teams and averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 assists.
