Nikola Jokic could not help Nuggets past Celtics

Boston Celtics end their two-match losing streak by beating a depleted Denver Nuggets despite Nikola Jokic’s monstrous performance. Nuggets were without many starters for the night and took complete control of the second unit with Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker’s big offensive night.

Jokic was singlehandedly responsible for pulling Nuggets so far that they remained close to Boston at all times and maintained their third-quarter double-digit lead throughout the whole last quarter Jokic was 43 points on 16-of-23 shooting, with six rebounds and five assists for the night. And Boston took advantage of the time he was off the floor. Brown on the other side was 27 points, five rebounds and five assists on 11-for-20 shooting and seven turnovers and Celtics finished 112-99.
