Oklahoma City are exploring trade options to bolster their roster

The Oklahoma City Thunder are exploring trade scenarios involving French forward Ousmane Dieng. The franchise is reportedly willing to package his expiring 6.6 million dollar contract alongside a future first round pick to successfully acquire a seasoned veteran. Despite currently being just 22 years old, Dieng remains a very intriguing prospect for rebuilding organizations.

Currently, the wing is averaging 4.4 points and 1.8 rebounds across 17 games, logging roughly 12.5 minutes per contest. Now in his fourth NBA campaign, Dieng has accumulated 126 career appearances, frequently shuffling between the main roster and G League assignments for development. He was originally selected eleventh overall in the 2022 Draft by the New York Knicks before being immediately traded to the Thunder on that same night. Dieng notably served on the Oklahoma City squad that historically captured the 2024-25 NBA championship title victory.
