Orlando Magic's pick for 25th overall choice in the 2025 NBA Draft

The Orlando Magic are motivated and ambitious going into the 2025 NBA Draft. The Magic have started to turn from a rebuilding club into a serious playoff contender following a .500 season and a first-place Southeast Division finish. Under Jeff Weltman's leadership, the front staff has made it plain that this summer is about "win-now" decisions rather than developmental risks. Orlando may use its two first-round selections (No. 16 and No. 25) to package assets for a larger trade or to address urgent needs. 

The perimeter shooting was Orlando's painfully visible weakness in 2025. Although there aren't many top picks in this year's draft class, there is a sizable pool of seasoned college athletes and role players available in the late first round. Rasheer Fleming of Saint Joseph's and Walter Clayton Jr. of Florida are two names that are frequently associated with Orlando.
