Pacers 116-115 Lakers

The Lakers suffered a heartbreaking defeat to the Pacers, 116-115 and fall down to 7-12 on the season on Monday night. Anthony Davis steered the show with 25 points and 13 rebounds in the loss. With Davis and LeBron James named as probable, it was a consolation when both of them began the game. Unluckily, early in the first quarter, James painfully twisted his ankle and had to cut out action for the remainder of the first quarter.

Fortunately, the Lakers saw LeBron return in the second quarter and he looked to be allgood to go. Throughout the remainder of the first, the Lakers kept on contesting with the Pacers. Wenyen Gabriel and Thomas Bryant were domineering the glass, Austin Reaves was getting to the line and scoring off the bench, and the Lakers advanced with 32-29 after one. The remaining first half was a back-and-forth affair.
