The Chicago Bulls were placed at the fourth number in the 2020 NBA Draft. After seeing the first three picks taken as expected, the Chicago Bulls had other options in mind. Killian Hayes, Deni Avdija, and Isaac Okoro were on the board. All of which would have been competent selections.
However, Marc Eversley and Arturas Karnisovas decided to take an oscillation. They chose Patrick Williams, Florida State forward. Until the final few days back, there weren’t any talks of Chicago wanting to draft Williams.
Williams, a 19-year-old forward still has a lot of things in his game he needs to work on. And, this may be one of the most crucial reasons for future seasons. Maybe more than how he thought the Bulls would operate this draft. Nevertheless, there is a lot of raw tools and talent that Williams flashed while at FSU. This depicts why he was finally a top-five pick.
