Pelicans to sign Josh Hart and complete their roster

New Orleans Pelicans are close to completing their roster and prepare for the Preseason by ensuring they have the most dependable reserve. Pelicans are negotiating a multi-year $38 million deal with Jost Hart this offseason. Currently, the Pelicans already have 15 guaranteed contracts as per the NBA rules and have two two-way players as well on the roster. But Pelicans have still failed to snatch a big player in free agency this season.

Hart is a versatile player and would add more depth to the roster with his defensive and rebounding skills. The 6-foot-5 has averaged 9.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 28.7 minutes per game last season. But Hart had to be sidelined last season after he tore his ligament in April which was a serious blow for the Pelicans who were making a play for the play-in tournament.
