Phoenix Suns advances to NBA Semifinals

Nuggets did not stand a chance against the powerful duo of Chris Paul and Devin Booker who combined for 71 points in Game 4 and completed the four-game sweep of the Denver Nuggets. Suns have booked their berth in the NBA semi-finals for the first time in 11 years. In the 125-118 rout Booker added 34 points and 11 rebounds and Paul scored 37 points to end the second-round Western Conference playoff series early with 4-0.

Suns benefited from the MVP Nikola Jokic’s ejection in the third quarter who could just add 22 points and 11 rebounds. A solid effort by Mikal Bridges, Deandre Ayton, and Jae Crowder was seen as well while Nuggets saw Will Barton post 25 points, Michael Porter on 20, and Monte Morris added 19 in the loss. Suns would now have to wait for the winner of the Jazz and Clippers match.
