Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors increased the heat of the playoffs

Even though it was just the fourth game of the 2022–23 season, the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns' matchup on Tuesday had playoff intensity. In the third quarter, tempers started to rise as each side traded buckets. In the third quarter alone, there were seven total technical fouls called, including two to a member of the Warriors that led to expulsion. Devin Booker and Klay Thompson looked to be chirping at each other throughout the whole game. Thompson blocked Booker's jumper, and their conversation grew more heated.

The All-Star guard's Booker and Thompson were given two technical fouls as their argument continued. With 6:31 left in the third period, the agitated Thompson immediately received his second technical and was dismissed from the game. Thompson continued to argue with Phoenix's bench before being escorted to the locker room.
