Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors went head to head on Thursday but Pistons once again came out at the top with their sixth back-to-back win against the team. Cade Cunningham and Jerami Grant scored a combined total of 48 points with Cunningham grabbing 12 rebounds as well. Coach Dwane Casey motivated his team to win against the team that let him go back in May 2018.
With Saddiq Bey scoring 23 points, Hamidou Diallo, 11, and Isaiah Stewart added another 10 points for the team. Raptors came into the match hoping for an easy win against Pistons but instead lost third of their last five matches, even after forcing a comeback in the last quarter. Precious Achiuwa’s three-pointer pushed the match closer 106-102 and Siakam continued the momentum but still, Detroit edged out Raptors.
