Portland Trail Blazers 107-109 Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn’s Kevin Durant, who carried the Nets on his back with 35 points and eight rebounds and sailed them to a smooth 109-107 victory at the Moda Center. It was his late miss that set up the winning moment. Justise Winslow drew an offensive foul on Durant during an in-bound play with 31.8 seconds left, the Nets leading 106-103 at that time. After that, Jerami Grant missed on a drive to the rim, but Jusuf Nurkic caught the offensive rebound and was fouled while he was trying to score. He succeeded at the first free throw but missed the second. The Blazers fouled Durant with 14.9 seconds still left on the clock while drawing 106-104.

Durant let the first free throw slip but brought the second to fruition by giving the Nets a 107-104 lead. The Nets set up a play for Durant and Royce O’Neale tipped the ball off the glass and gave a 109-107 lead.
