Portland Trail Blazers rallied to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 106-105

With 29 seconds left, Deni Avdija, who finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds, blocked Norman Powell on a fast break to maintain a one-point advantage. Portland, which trailed the entire fourth quarter until Simons scored the game-winning basket with 2:44 left, had 12 points from Toumani Camara and 14 points from Scoot Henderson.

James Harden scored 19 points and dished out 10 assists for the Clippers, while Powell scored 30 points. Los Angeles just scored three points in the last 3:30 of the game and hit one field goal. Throughout the fourth quarter, Simons consistently performed admirably for Portland. He drove for a layup to level the score at 99, made a 3-pointer to tie the score again at 102, and then made the game-winning layup to put them ahead for good on successive possessions.
