The Portland Trail Blazers welcomed New Year with a successful triumph. They defeated the Golden State Warriors. They won the match by 123-98. The match took place at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
The Blazers i.e. (3-2) had an early lead. They never looked back against a Warriors team which was commendable. But the Warrior team was struggling throughout the game to find its identity without Klay Thompson, All-Star guard. He couldn't participate in this season as he had got an Achilles injury.
However, this game played out in reverse in many ways. It is being said because of the Blazers' poor performance on Wednesday. The Blazers shot badly. They couldn’t compete with the Los Angeles Clippers. Hence, lost the match by 128-105. The Blazers' star performers were Damian Lillard (34 points) and CJ McCollum (28 points)
