Portland wins the NBA Summer League title

Portland and New York Knicks met in the final battle for the NBA Summer League championship only for Blazers to steal away the crown in the end. Portland powered through against the Knicks grabbing more rebounds, 37-32 to take the title home. While Blazers had already defeated New York once with an 88-77 scoreline, they did not enjoy a good start to the game.

The turning point of the match become the second quarter of the game where they went on a 3-pointer rampage and hit a total of seven 3-pointers to build their lead of 11 points before they headed towards the break, afterward they came back to finish the match with 85-77 and relish in the 2K23 champion status. In another match, the Raptors took down Milwaukee, 80-69 with six players in the double digits and Abu Kigab scoring 15 points.
