In the search of a potential No. 17 pick, the Grizzlies are set on Joshua Christopher from Arizona State. But this selection seems to be unfit for strengthening Memphis’s weak spot nullifying the advantage of the new addition. The 6-4 game and top-level playmaking capabilities of Christopher make him a good select for the draft through a least consistent shooter. He is definitely good with the ball averaging 1.4 steals per contest and can make up a strong defense which with added attacking power would be invincible.
With the Grizzlies' priorities Desmond Bane, De’Anthony Melton, Grayson Allen and Dillon Brooks securing the starting lineup, Christopher’s potential may not see light in the near future. It would interesting to see if he actually proves to be a long term prospect for the Grizzlies negating the popular opinion
