Toronto Raptors lost to Philadelphia 76ers by 125-113 in their second match of the NBA preseason after winning the first battle earlier by 123-107. Georges Niang and Seth Curry together scored 31 points on Thursday as both of them scored four 3-pointers and went 8 for 15 from deep. Philadelphia had eight players in double digits at the end of the night and almost had their complete lineup with them.
Sixers went 47 of 87 from beyond the 3-point arc and Isaiah Joe scored 15 points, Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey scored 14 points each while Joel Embiid in his preseason debut scored 10 in 20 minutes of action. Raptors were forced to play without Pascal Siakam, Chris Boucher, Khem Birch, and Yuta Watanabe thus they relied on OG Anunoby and Fred VanVleet who scored 22 and 17 points respectively.
