Rockets fell to Pelicans in a close match, 110-97

Kevin Porter Jr. scored 27 points but it was not enough to see Rockets to a win, who fell for the second consecutive loss. Rockets were trailing for the most part of the match against Pelicans and every time they tried to power through Pelicans pushed ahead. While losses in a rebuilding season are not unheard of, but Porter Jr provided enough spark on the score that fans were hopeful of a win. He scored a season-high 27 points on 9/16 shooting, with seven triples.

Rockets recorded a third straight loss and seven of their last eight matches. The only chance they have of making some changes to the roster with the trade deadline approaching fast. With 28 more matches left in the season, the Rockets has a chance to play with a different roster.
