Minnesota Timberwolves was without their regular starters due to Covid protocols making things easy for Utah Jazz as they overpowered with relative ease, 128-116. Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards missed the match, but the others gave their best with Malik Beasley shooting 52% from the field and 43% from three to score 33 points while Naz Reid and D’Angelo Russell looked in form as well but it was not enough to defeat Utah Jazz.
Rudy Gobert dominated the show with no Towns to watch his moves, and even overshadowed over smaller Timberwolves defenders to score 20 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 blocks. Donovan Mitchell’s playmaking skills were another level as he set up other players for shots with 7 assists.
