Russell Westbrook drops a triple-double to help Wizards defeat Pacers

Russell Westbrook put his name down in National Basketball Association (NBA) history by scoring 35 points, a season-high 21 assists, and 14 rebounds to lead Washington Wizards to a 132-124 win over Indiana Pacers. He was the first one to score a 35-point, 20-point triple-double.

Supporting him on the floor Rui Hachimura had 26 points and eight rebounds and Chandler Hutchison scored 18 points off the bench for the Wizards while Bradley Beal was sidelined during the match due to a right hip contusion. Washington scored the second win in a row. Domantas Sabonis scored 35 points and 11 rebounds and Malcolm Brogdon had 26 points for the Pacers. In another match, Los Angeles Clippers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 129-105.
