As per the reports Sasha Vezenkov, the forward for the Sacramento Kings, has communicated his desire to depart with the organization. Vezenkov could choose to rejoin his family in Europe or join a different NBA team.
The 28-year-old forward Vezenkov is a dynamic player who spent more than ten years playing professionally in Europe. He won three Greek League MVP titles with Olympiacos and Aris B.C. in addition to winning the 2023 EuroLeague MVP award with Olympiacos of Greece. Additionally, Vezenkov has won five career domestic league titles in Greece and Spain both combined. After a successful career in Europe, Vezenkov could not emulate that with the Sacramento Kings. Vezenkov played 42 games this season off the bench, averaging just 12.2 minutes per night scoring 5.4 points, and grabbing 2.3 rebounds each contest. By the end of the season, he was almost out of the starting lineup as Trey Lyles began playing more backup forward minutes for Sacramento.
