Looking at the NBA status at present, there’s a reasonable chance to assume that the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors would be positioned to face each other in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Celtics coach Brad Stevens has already cleared that if that happens, winning over the Raptors won’t have much significance. Jaylen Brown had scored 20 points, Jayson Tatum added another 18 and that made the Celtics never trail on the way to 122-100 win over the Raptors. Leading by 40 points at one point, Kemba Walker scored 17 points in 23 minutes for the Celtics. By doing this he kept some hope alive of catching the Raptors for spot no. 2 in the East race. Stevens emphasised that the game won’t mean anything if they get that opportunity again. Boston has also won the season series against Toronto. The Celtics are on a winning spree with back-to-back games wins for the first time in the bubble.
